Essential Information & FAQ

How To Start?

I offer a brief (15-20 minutes) online consult to assess if I can help you and for you to get a feel for what talking to me is like. Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all service and requires dedication of time, energy and resources. It’s important to get clear on “brass tacks” before committing longer-term.

Initial session is 75 min/$250, Regular session rate is $200.

I am not on any Insurance panels. I can provide a superbill for Out of Network providers upon request.

A Good Faith Estimate is available to you for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your Therapist for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.  If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

How Much?

How Long?

Studies show that the individual therapeutic process is of most benefit when consistently scheduled for at least one hour session per week. Amount of time in therapy depends on myriad factors including: Therapeutic goals, trauma history, personal work, ability to express needs, wants and desires. Clients report noting a significant shift in behavior within 12 to 24 months of weekly sessions or the equivalent.

My focus is on the patterns that keep you from the goals you bring forth for us to collaborate on together. I will help you calm anxiety and notice the thoughts, feelings and body sensations that give you vital information about your internal emotional experience and what to do with it.

I practice in a no-judgement zone. You bring inner conflicts and my job is to respectfully highlight what is elusive and causes problems in your life. Retracing everything that’s happened to contribute to your current circumstance is not necessary, though some key events, moments will naturally come through in the process.

We bring all sorts of influences to how we think life is and want things to be. At times things are serious and deep and other times there is levity and even laughter.
